There have been significant changes in the Australian and the global economy and the tax landscape in the past year. We have seen rising costs of living and inflation but with low income growth. We have had a change in government with a new focus on multinational tax measures. We also now have an energy transition plan to reduce emissions by boosting renewable energy in Australia.

The Financial Services Taxation Conference continues to be the leading conference for financial services taxation professionals in Australia. This year the conference was held at the W Hotel in Melbourne from 16 – 17 March 2023.
