This video provides an overview of the practical administration and taxation issues that you may encounter either as executor, or as adviser to the executor. Planning and administration issues that were discussed include:

  • death and probate
  • bequests of assets
  • the family home and other significant assets
  • taxation issues for the executor of the deceased estate before and after the three-year time frame in s 99
  • Division 128 " CGT consequences of death on the deceased and beneficiaries
  • superannuation.
