Remuneration strategies are continually developing, and provide challenges for organisations in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors. Recently, a number of particular benefits have gained increased popularity in the salary packaging arena and have given a renewed lease on life to such arrangements.

Further, new legislation regarding the treatment of employee share schemes has recently been introduced, which significantly alters the way such schemes will be operated and taxed.

This event discussed the following:

  • the latest salary packaging trends
  • practical tips for keeping salary packaging arrangements manageable
  • the new employee share scheme rules; and
  • practical employee share scheme issues.

This event was part of the Breakfast Club and was also held in Hawthorn on the 29 April 2010.
