Published Date: 13 Sep 2007

Superannuation is increasingly a significant part of clients' wealth planning strategies. As our ageing population approaches retirement, issues concerning the changes in moving from the growth phase to the payment phase will more commonly arise. Against this background regular legislative changes offer a challenge to practitioners to ensure the continued compliance with legislation, the tax effectiveness and flexibility of existing arrangements for clients.

This seminar focussed on the growth of SMSFs and covered a range of topical issues relevant for practitioners who advise clients on superannuation matters.
