The aged care and retirement living industry is growing rapidly. Traditionally the sector has been dominated by non profit organisations, but there has been significant growth and market consolidation for the 'for profit' sector. New laws, regulations and ATO announcements are developing on an adhoc basis resulting in complexity that needs to be understood by anyone advising or operating in this area.
