Source: Western Australia

Published Date: 10 Aug 2006

Australia's ageing population has meant that estate planning has become an area of crucial importance for tax practitioners. The legal, accounting and tax issues can be complex and challenging, and neither clients nor their practitioners can afford to be complacent about this issue.

The aim of this seminar was to provide a thorough review of the key management, planning, taxation and legal principles that practitioners must understand in order to help their clients plan effectively. The speakers examined not only the tax and legal issues to watch out for, but also the practical day-to-day matters that practitioners must be in control of.
