On December 2 1998, The GST juggernaut was heralded with the introduction into Federal Parliament of over 1,000 pages of draft legislation. The GST legislation is the pivotal point in the Government's proposed initiatives for tax reform - Australia at large is now well and truly drawn into the relentless vortex of tax reform.
