In this issue of the journal, we are very pleased to publish the transcripts from Revolutionising state taxes — finding a way forward. This event was jointly hosted by The Tax Institute and the Australian Tax Research Foundation on 13 December 2012 in Adelaide.
The following articles include thoughts on tax reform from some of the key participants in the public debate, specifically: the Hon. Jack Snelling, MP, South Australian Treasurer (as he then was); Bruce Carter, Consultant, Ferrier Hodgson; and Michael Butler, CTA, Partner, Finlaysons.
