Suzanne is a senior associate in the corporate group in the Brisbane office of Blake Dawson Waldron. Her expertise lies primarily in the area of stamp duty law, with her present areas or practice also including corporate and business reorganisations and the provision of general corporate and commercial advice. Recent matters include providing advice on stamp duty issues arising out of tender documents for a significant Government PPP Project, providing input on suitable acquisition structures and strategies to minimise stamp duty on business acquisitions, and applying for stamp duty relief for a number of corporate reorganisations. Suzanne has made numerous presentations on stamp duty and GST, including seminars arranged by the Taxation Institute of Australia and the Queensland Law Society.
