Richard is Taxation Manager for Alcoa World Alumina Australia and he also provides assistance to Alcoa operations in the Asian region. Richard joined Alcoa in February 1997. Prior to that, Richard was Tax Compliance Manager at Esso Australia (a subsidiary of the Exxon Corporation) 1988 to 1997, Assistant Tax Manager at Santos Ltd 1982 to 1988 and a Senior Tax Accountant with the accounting firm of Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co 1977 to 1982. During his employment with Esso and Alcoa, Richard has gained extensive experience in dealing with international tax matters. Richard holds a BA (Accounting) from the Adelaide College of Advanced Education, and a Business Certificate Accounting. Richard is a member of the Australian CPA's, National Institute of Accountants, The Tax Institute, Corporate Tax Association and the Tax Executives Institute. He is also a Registered Tax Agent.
