Richard Goodwin, CTA is an Associate Partner at EY in the International Tax & Transaction Services Group. He has over 25 years corporate and international tax experience where he has been involved in the provision of Australian income tax and cross-border corporate tax advice to Australian and foreign multinational companies across a range of industries. Richard has previously worked on EY’s Australian Tax Desk in New York where he advised US businesses investing into Australia. Richard has been involved in consultations with Treasury and the ATO in relation to the hybrid mismatch rules and more recently the thin capitalisation changes.
