Phillip is a partner of de Groot & Co, Wills & Estate Lawyers, and practices as an estate planner and litigator. He is an Accredited Specialist in Succession Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology. He was admitted to practice in 1992 and joined the firm de Groot & Co in January 1993. Phillip has worked almost exclusively in the areas of wills and estates and the related aspects. Phillip also has commercial law experience including work in the areas of leasing, conveyancing and small businesses. He has contributed to 'Wills, Probate and Administration Practice (Queensland)' by Dr John de Groot and has delivered seminars on will making, estate planning and estate litigation.
