One of Tasmania’s most well-known rural agents, Michael first obtained his auctioneers license in 1984. This began two
decades of success and achievements within the rural sector both in Victoria and Tasmania. In 1995 Michael began to specialize in historic homesteads and lifestyle properties, including dairy, grazing, cropping, forestry and wool enterprises.
He has sold many multimillion dollar properties throughout Tasmania with the record of the highest price achieved holding
strong at $9.3 million. As the state manager of an opposition brand from 1995 until 2009, Michael also held a position during that time as a Director of Patrick Hawkins Melbourne, Victoria’s leading
Rural/Lifestyle property agency from 2005-2009. Michael has forged a career not just in selling rural property but also as a highly respected auctioneer, conducting rural property auctions, residential auctions, antique and art auctions, clearing sales
auctions, livestock auctions, wool auctions and numerous charity auctions.
