Michael is a Senior Assistant Commissioner of Taxation at the Australian Taxation Office and is responsible for
the Energy and Resources segment in the Large Business and International business line, which administers the income
tax system for the resource sector businesses with an annual turnover greater than $250 million. Michael’s 25 years in the
Tax Office has spanned across many different tax technical and management roles in areas including taxpayer assistance,
assessments, rulings, disputes and audits mainly in the Large Business line.
