Margaret was appointed a Judge of the Federal
Court of Australia in October 2000. Prior to her appointment she was a Partner at Freehills where she worked in the areas of commercial property, infrastructure development, commercial financing and taxation. She is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of New South Wales lecturing mainly in Commercial Equity and in Commercial Land Transactions.
