Ian Heywood, CTA is the Tasmanian leader of Specialist Tax Consulting for Crowe Horwath. He has a focus on providing strategic advice for clients on investment, transactional and operational taxation issues including Research & Development incentives, CGT and related concessions, international taxation, tax consolidation and GST. He works with a broad range of clients including SME's, property investors and developers, and high net worth family groups. Ian is a CPA, has been a sessional lecturer at University of Tasmania on Taxation and has a Master of Taxation. He is involved with The Tax Institute as the deputy state chair of the Tasmanian State Council and represents Tasmania on the National Membership Committee.
