Glenn Caligaris has been a Principal of McInnes Wilson’s Disputes and Insolvency team since 2006 and is the National Leader of McInnes Wilson Lawyers’ Commonwealth Government Team. Glenn has over 25 years’ experience in insolvency, taxation and commercial disputes and regularly advises distressed entities in respect of managing taxation issues that arise in restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency scenarios. Glenn is recognised for his practical and commercial approach to resolving disputes that are both complex and sensitive. Glenn has acted for and against the Commissioner of Taxation on numerous occasions in respect of taxation and insolvency disputes in all Courts, including the High Court of Australia on several occasions. Glenn was recently a member of the Business Council of Australia “Rebuild Biz” team lead by Sir Peter Cosgrove advising distressed business in fire ravaged communities following the Australian Bushfires in 2020. Glenn has been consistently recognised by Doyle’s List and The Best Lawyers in Australia for Insolvency and Reorganisation Law.
