David is a partner at Holley Nethercote lawyers, working primarily in the firm's financial services practice area. He has been a member of The Tax Institute since 1986 and previously worked at one of Australia's largest law firms followed by a long-term position as corporate counsel at a multinational employee benefits and superannuation consulting business.
David has more than 30 years of experience in financial services, commercial and taxation law. His particular expertise relates to the licensing, taxation and public offering of superannuation and managed investment products with a special interest in the licensing, disclosure and wholesale client rules affecting SMSFs.
