Carl Valentine CTA

 
Carl is the Managing Partner of PwC's Townsville office and has over 18 years experience in taxation, accounting and business advisory matters gained from working in PwC's Townsville, Port Moresby and Sydney offices. Carl brings broad commercial experience having worked with a diverse group of clients on a range of complex matters. Carl was based in PNG for over 8 years where he worked in a predominantly corporate taxation advisory role. During that time Carl advised the proponents, managers and contractors to many major resource (LNG, mining and petroleum), infrastructure and social projects (including foreign aid funded projects). Carl's taxation experience includes advising on both in-bound and out-bound investment, corporate income tax, goods and services tax, customs and excise duties and stamp duty. In addition to taxation matters, Carl assists clients with transaction services and detailed financial modelling (for budgeting, strategic planning and capital raisings). Carl has a Bachelor of Business, is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Registered Tax Agent and a Chartered Tax Advisor.
