Brendon has been with Virgin Blue since 2004. In his role he is
responsible for implementing the airline's financial risk management strategy, involvement in aircraft financing projects, managing transactional banking and merchant acquiring relationships and also has responsibility for the insurance requirements of the group. Prior to Virgin Blue, Brendon spent over seven years working for KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Whilst at KPMG Brendon worked both in Australia and the UK principally in audit and advisory roles.
