Andrew was appointed Deputy Inspector-
General of Taxation on 18 August 2009. Prior to this appointment, Andrew held senior corporate taxation positions, including global Head of Tax for Allco Finance Group and Deputy Head of Tax
Australia-New Zealand for Deutsche Bank. He has also been an active tax reform advocate over many years through industry bodiessuch as the Australian Bankers’ Association, Australian Financial
Markets Association, Australian Securitisation Forum, Corporate
Tax Association and the Financial Services Council. These roles have provided him with considerable knowledge and experience in
dealing with the Government and its agencies, including the ATO and the Department of Treasury.
