The Basic GST/BAS Taxation Principles is comprised of:

  • FNSBKG404A Carry out business activity and instalment activity statement task
  • FNSBKG405A Establish and maintain a payroll system
  • GST/BAS Challenge Exam

Together these make up the BAS Agent Registration Skills Set.

Designed to provide candidates with a detailed understanding of BAS tasks and the payroll system, it is an ideal bookkeeping course for those seeking to become a registered BAS Agent or for candidates maintaining their registration who are required to complete a course in basic GST/BAS taxation principles*.

  • Equivalent Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills to a School Certificate (year 10) education.

  • Introductory MYOB knowledge, basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and using interactive PDF documents.

  • $180 challenge exam only (incl GST)
