Michael is the Editor of the Laws of Australia: Revenue Law volume. Michael is also the co-author of Death and Taxes, a book published by Thomson Reuters on the tax consequences of death.

Matthew is the Managing Director of Rae & Partners, Lawyers, in Launceston, having recently moved from the position of Managing Partner of Peter Worrall Lawyers in Hobart. He has been practising as a commercial lawyer for 12 years. Matthew specialises in complex commercial and property transactions, business structuring, corporations law, succession planning and tax advice, and has advised many businesses and community organisations about corporate governance issues. Formerly a member of the Property & Commercial Law Committee of the Law Society of Tasmania, Matthew is a founding member of the CPD Committee of the Law Society of Tasmania, presenter for the Law Society on GST and a guest lecturer for the University of Tasmania Postgraduate Tasmanian Legal Practice Training program. Matthew was appointed to the Tasmanian State Council of The Tax Institute in 2008 and appointed to the National Council of The Tax Institute in 2010. He is currently the chair of the Institute’s Information Products Working Group and a member of the Investment Committee.

Graeme is Professor of Taxation Law at the University of Sydney and a consultant to Greenwoods & Freehills. He is former NSW State Chairman and currently a Member of National Council. He has worked as a consultant to the ATO, Treasury, Board of Taxation, OECD, World Bank and IMF. He is a frequent speaker at events for The Tax Institute and has written many articles in Australian and overseas journals. He was admitted to legal practice in NSW (1980) and Victoria (1999) and practised commercial law and tax in Sydney before entering teaching. He has taught tax in law schools in Australia, Europe and the United States, and holds degrees from the University of Sydney, University of Illinois and Columbia University, New York.
